"Even to untrained ears, it is obvious while listening to the set of duets on Troubled Times that Mark Kramer and Eddie Gómez have played together a countless number of times through the years. Their intuitive musical communication, which results in consistently exciting interplay, is never short of brilliant and often closer to miraculous.
