Live Concert in mid-2015 (as part of the Hong Kong Fusion Series v9) Gary Mazzaroppi (bass) and John Mosemann (drums) join Mark. The work is named for its lead track " Mark's (Bag's) Groove which celebrates the blues from it's earliest expression to modernism. This concert also includes several unreleased Mark Kramer originals played for the first time. Other selections include improvisations on altered Jazz Standards’ harmonies and feels. As is typical of many CDs in the HONG KONG FUSION series, the performances and arrangements are generally completely spontaneous, and reasonably well-recorded. Nicely attended.
