An early fully open stereo mic live recording with Gary Mazzaroppi (bass) and John Mosemann (drums) at the Hong Kong Fusion Hall prior to establishing enforced silence policy. Nevertheless, at most times the audience is reasonably quiet and responsive given that the trio plays at acoustic levels. Two of the trio's members (Mark and John) were quite ill with a summer flu during this performance - which may explain some lapses in attention. Involuntary scatting of the players , expletives, directions , and some foot tapping heard at times. Ver unusual. The music is fine, when it is not lacking. However, because the recording conditions were substandard, and some of the performances questionable, the tracks are discounted. (To some the naturalness of the conditions might argue that a premium should have been considered! :) A very strange night, but nevertheless with redeeming moments.
